Allergy testing
Food intolerances can be the cause of many symptoms.
Food sensitivity testing
Food intolerances can be the cause of many symptoms, including headaches, mood swings, tiredness and fatigue, weight problems, IBS, depression, skin problems, bloating, insomnia. If you think you might have a food intolerance then food sensitivity testing is the answer. A food intolerance test easily and accurately identifies any foods and foods ingredients that may be at the root of your unwanted symptoms and provides the practitioner with objective data which assists in determining what major systems and organs of the body are stressed or weakened. Once you have discovered which foods you should avoid you can start making changes to regain a healthy balance and take control of your health.
What Happens During A Food Intolerance Testing?
At our clinic we use a new cutting edge technology for testing food intolerance. Test is designed to deliver long-term benefits to patients by quickly identifying areas of potential concern, and then focus on supporting core functional health.
The Bio meridian system has the ability to easily and accurately test for sensitivities of 200 chosen foods and food ingredients and finds any imbalances. As well as performing food intolerance testing also body diagnostic is done to gain valuable information about the body’s vital functions.
The test, which is painless and non-invasive, involves measurements of energy stress points primarily on the hands and feet. The locations of the test point generally correspond to those of acupuncture points. These measurements are taken using a probe and recorded to create a profile of a patient’s present condition. As a patient moves toward or away from health, the condition of any particular organ or system can be sensed along the meridians at representative points. As a result, stress associated with the corresponding organs can be surveyed using the indicated points. Once testing is finished patient receives a printout of the results at the end of the screening which illustrates the balanced and sensitive foods and the condition of major systems and organs of the body. This provides good foundation data for re-balancing health, and is used as the starting point for a detailed review with Nutritional Therapist. During the consultation with practitioner appropriate advice will be given and diet and lifestyle recommended.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are pregnant, or you have a pace-maker fitted, we regret that we are not able to screen you.
